I used tin foil and tape to make it. Basically you make the base out of tin foil, tape and anything else you can use to form the shape (this one utilized a cardboard tape roll for the mouth) and then color it. Takes forever but turns out better than you'd think.

Sounds a little fragile... does the tape stiffen it a lot if you use enough?

Yeah. Plus you're using multiple layers of foil. I recommend 5.
